FFXIV Patch 6.3 Preview Part 1

Patch 6.3: Gods Revel, Lands Tremble

We started the broadcast by announcing the Patch 6.3 title. Patch 6.3 is scheduled for early January 2023, as it'd be difficult for us to conduct maintenance during the holidays in the case of an emergency.

New Main Scenario Quests

We don't want to reveal too much about the upcoming story, but here's a sneak peek at two screenshots.

Zero's character was designed carefully, and we're glad to see how popular she's been with our Warriors of Light. We also hope you're looking forward to seeing Alphinaud and Alisaie, who are back on-screen after their brief hiatus from the main scenario.

New Sidequests

Here's a sneak peek at some of the upcoming sidequests.

The latest installment of "Tataru's Grand Endeavor" will continue to look back at your adventures thus far.

"Tales of Newfound Adventure" quests are available upon completing the 6.2 main scenario and will continue to unfold in Patch 6.3. It'll be an especially enjoyable story for our lore enthusiasts, so we hope you'll check it out.

"Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures" will be updated in Patch 6.35. Incidentally, the design for PuPu in FFXIV is supervised by none other than Mr. Tetsuya Nomura himself, as the uneven asymmetry is an essential part of the character.

Further Manderville Weapons

The Manderville Weapons quests will also continue in Patch 6.35. It's still too early for us to talk about the story, but surely this picture says it all.

New Tribal Quests

The Loporrit tribal quests will be for Disciples of the Hand. These quests are bound to get rowdy with all the Loporrits around, but who knows what they're making this time?

New Dungeon

New Trials

The details of the upcoming trials will be withheld until release. Deciding whether or not to reveal it for the broadcast and press releases was an agonizing decision, but we ended up keeping it a surprise for our Warriors of Light. We'll be looking forward to reading your theories!

New Unreal Trial

The next Unreal trial features a level 90 version of Sophia. Be prepared to re-experience Containment Bay P1T6, known for its brain-teasing mechanics and the floor that swings back and forth!

New Alliance Raid
