We started the broadcast by announcing the Patch 6.3 title. Patch 6.3 is scheduled for early January 2023, as it'd be difficult for us to conduct maintenance during the holidays in the case of an emergency.

We don't want to reveal too much about the upcoming story, but here's a sneak peek at two screenshots.

Zero's character was designed carefully, and we're glad to see how popular she's been with our Warriors of Light. We also hope you're looking forward to seeing Alphinaud and Alisaie, who are back on-screen after their brief hiatus from the main scenario.

Here's a sneak peek at some of the upcoming sidequests.

The latest installment of "Tataru's Grand Endeavor" will continue to look back at your adventures thus far.

"Tales of Newfound Adventure" quests are available upon completing the 6.2 main scenario and will continue to unfold in Patch 6.3. It'll be an especially enjoyable story for our lore enthusiasts, so we hope you'll check it out.

"Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures" will be updated in Patch 6.35. Incidentally, the design for PuPu in FFXIV is supervised by none other than Mr. Tetsuya Nomura himself, as the uneven asymmetry is an essential part of the character.

The Manderville Weapons quests will also continue in Patch 6.35. It's still too early for us to talk about the story, but surely this picture says it all.

    (00:28:35)

The fifth installment in the Ultimate series is scheduled for two weeks after Patch 6.3 is released. We were unable to announce a timeframe for it until now due to how difficult it was to balance the content.

We'll be revealing the concept of the duty in the next Letter LIVE. We hope you're looking forward to it, whether it be as a challenger or a viewer!

The third Deep Dungeon, Eureka Orthos, will be added in Patch 6.35.

It'll be useful for leveling between level 81 and 90, and its rules and functionality will generally be the same as the other deep dungeons. That said, there will be some unique aspects to Eureka Orthos, which we hope to showcase in the next Letter LIVE.

Do note that completion of the main scenario quest "Endwalker" and up to Floor 50 of Palace of the Dead will be required to enter. Deep Dungeon is unlike any other content, and this requirement is intended to have players get the gist of it by playing through the Palace of the Dead. Reaching Floor 50 of Palace of the Dead should be a relatively relaxed endeavor, so you may want to give it a try before Eureka Orthos is introduced.

During the broadcast, we explained what Deep Dungeon is for those unfamiliar, which may be helpful if you're looking to get started.

Duty Support will be added to all Heavensward main scenario dungeons in Patch 6.3. The Aetherochemical Research Facility has been revamped quite a bit in line with what's been revealed about the Ancients and Ascians in the main scenario. You'll also be accompanied by appropriate NPCs for each duty so be sure to check it out.

    (00:43:42)

The details and direction for job adjustments will be shared in the next Letter LIVE. We'll continue to include our explanations for job adjustments in the Job Guide.

We'd like to mention that there will be a major change in paladin's rotation. With the next Ultimate duty on the horizon, we felt it was best for us to make calibrations to the job at this time. And while we aren't planning on making drastic changes to other jobs, they'll still receive some fine-tuning adjustments.

We'll also continue to make job adjustments for PvP; not just for Crystalline Conflict, but in consideration of situations in Frontline and Rival Wings as well.

A new arena will be added for Crystalline Conflict in Patch 6.3, which you can see in the screenshots.

As for the arena rotation, we're considering lowering the frequency of Cloud Nine, which hasn't been as popular, and increasing the frequency of the new arena. Please look forward to what kind of gimmick will be added in the new arena.

The upcoming tool enhancement quests will feature Grenoldt and will be added in Patch 6.35.

We also revealed that the next Custom Deliveries client will be a leafman. Surely this unusual client has raised a lot of eyebrows and questions as to how the delivery quests will function.

We went over upcoming quality-of-life updates.

The first is an update to the user interface (UI) for gathering collectable items which will display collectability values.

The second is the addition of primary fishing locations, preferred bait, and additional conditions to the Fish Guide.

Finally, a new spearfishing location will be added to Upper La Noscea. It'll be the first A Realm Reborn area to allow diving, and the screenshot gives you a taste of the underwater sights you'll see.

The new treasure hunt dungeon, the Shifting Gymnasion Agonon, will be accessible through a new Elpis-exclusive treasure map.

As we were planning out the various updates for 6.x, Elpis was selected as our treasure map destination as we wanted something that would feature or have players visit its breathtaking environs. However, it'd be strange if maps to Elpis could be uncovered in various areas, which is why we decided to stay within the lore and make the treasure maps Elpis-exclusive. We'll be going over the details in the next Letter LIVE.

1,800 new plots will be added to each World and will be available for sale via lottery. The matter of whether it should be first-come, first-served or lottery is constantly debated, but we've chosen the lottery for this update for fairness. The details regarding free company and private plot distribution will be announced on the Lodestone later.

We went over improvements that will be made to the UI.

First, the Battle log and flying text will now display icons indicating damage types. These will be categorized as physical, magic, or unique; "unique" refers to damage that is neither physical or magic.

These damage type icons will be applied to every single battle content that has been implemented thus far, which is a vast amount of content for us to review. Although we'll be checking thoroughly for discrepancies, it's possible that some may slip through nonetheless, so please let us know if you locate any errors.

We introduced some upcoming quality-of-life updates.

We highlighted how the portraits would be displayed when using the Duty Finder. (The red border in the screenshot was edited in to highlight the portrait feature and will not be in the actual game.)

To avoid interrupting the tempo from entering the instance to commencing the duty, portraits would only be displayed briefly before vanishing on their own. This feature is currently being developed for duties involving parties of four or eight players.

In alliance raids, portraits will only be displayed for members of your own party. Displaying portraits for all 24 members may take up too much space on the screen and may cause players to opt out of having them shown at all. Should we find a way to resolve this conflict, we may consider displaying all of them.

More actions will be available when using fashion accessories.

We had a target date for a feature that would automatically put up an umbrella for you in rainy weather, which we previously mentioned; however, we encountered a major issue. That said, once that is addressed, we should be able to show the feature in action.

The communication features around retainers will be expanded, allowing their equipment to be glamoured over or dyed without unequipping them first, as well as enabling players to cast glamours on their equipment directly from their retainer’s inventory. We're also planning another update for retainers related to managing material items, but it'd be better demonstrated through actual gameplay, so we'll be showcasing it in the next Letter LIVE.
