To each their own, I suppose. I very much doubt many share this opinion considering it's what led to several worlds basically becoming ghost towns due to players congregating. There's a reason Gilgamesh has the reputation it does. If you wanted to raid in Heavensward, you went there or basically didn't. Same with Balmung and roleplay. Speaking only for myself, I'd essentially have to choose between raiding and my friend dynamic without world and DC travel. Which, on the whole, would make the game far less appealing to play.
