I would honestly expect numbers to go down substantially, as veteran players get tired of doing the same old song and dance predictable patch cycle, while the monumental wall of a new player experience limits fresh blood. To be quite honest, even with the new expansion, I sincerely doubt we will ever see the more players coming into the game.
Most of the new players which came from WOW has already come and left and with Endwalker being the culmination of a 10 year plot, the new expansion will be a much lower key event and it would be surprising if we even see the same number of players as back during Shadowbringers.
Which mean Dynamis, OCE and the 4 new EU servers will remain extremely low pop, and there won't be queue issues like what we experienced in Endwalker release either.
