Why Is Dynamis Dead

People are welcome to discuss how/why Dynamis is dead; Regardless of why Dynamis is in this situation, it's still in this situation though.

My qualm is with people who are trying to argue that Dynamis is not currently dead, which is so unbelievably disingenuous that it beggars belief.

Unfortunately, this is naturally what occurs when people select all of their opinions and stances on issues in service of a singular goal, instead of examining reality and formulating them individually on a case-to-case basis. That is to say, white knights care first and foremost about simping for the game, and will occupy whatever stance is most convenient to do so, even if it's directly at odds with reality or contradicts positions they've assumed in previous threads.

That has community support though, with PvP events happening on all the DCs.

It's not dead, it's just getting started and people have no patience. It's barely been over a month and people are acting like it's the end of the world and SE needs to act immediately.

Dynamis doesn't look dead. It had a server queue at 8am this past Tuesday. Limsa is full of people, as is Gridania and Uldah, to a lesser extent. People are everywhere. But trying to queue for almost anything other than leveling and 50/60/70/80 can be very long to never ending waits.

We really need region wide duty/party finders.

If I can't complete content on my DC without being forced to move to another server, it's dead, especially if it's current content like the moogle tome event. If I go into the Southern Front and there's 4 people total waiting around for duels and not helping on CEs and Fates, it's dead.
I don't care about how it's going to be in 1 or 2 years, I care about how it is right now when I'm paying and playing the game, especially since the forums told me I had to move otherwise I'd never get a house, and now I'm locked into a dead server for 3 months.

I'm pretty sure there is always a server queue time for DDOS prevention reasons.

It's not backpedaling because I (and others) said to give it time from the start.

This time of year is kinda dead. This end of the patch cycle is quiet as well. It was supposed to launch back in August with the launch of a patch. Things will pick up eventually, but probably not until 6.3

I'm pointing out how disingenuous it is to use the alliance and frontline roulettes as a gauge. (I'm not the only one that's pointed that out.)

Frontline queues can get pretty iffy on established servers depending on where we are in a patch cycle, so whatever, but I don't see how it's disingenuous to be looking at Alliance roulette times. I've only managed to get into Labrinth and Syrcus Tower when I queue, and it's a bit disheartening that it's taking as long as it is to scrape together 24 people, across four servers, who are wanting to run the most basic of raids at any given time.
