hope that helps
FWIW, I never had issues with getting a quick pop on alliance roulette when I was still on Crystal. It was almost always near-instant, and maaaybe up to 5 minutes on a bad day. And my main play time is normally in the morning, so off peak-hours.So you use the one type of roulette (outside of PvP) that tends to have long queue times on all data centers as your proof?
Good going.
As for 4 player content, how is a 6 minute wait unacceptably long? I have yet to have a party fail to fill in a reasonable amount of time.
This was my queue from earlier today. I started the queue at about 10am PST and it (Labyrinth) finally popped at 222 minutes. I was on a healer, which was in need, and I have all raids unlocked.
I queued up again tonight at 5:30 PST, also on SGE but not role in-need, and got in at 28 minutes. This has been my quickest queue by far, before this my shortest was 90 minutes.
I'm not one of those people who are clamoring about Dynamis being dead, and I think it will be just fine given some time, but we are definitely struggling ATM on basic content.
Queue locally when ya can, peeps. :3
I like the mental gymnastics you two are going through lmao.
Btw, you can get that queue even as tank/healer. Go ahead and try it :^) Why show more of the window, when you know you're going to make up another excuse as to why the queue is that long lmao.
LMAO I saw twenty whole bots.. er people in my Bozja, it CANT be dead!Except it's not peak times. I'm generally playing on Dynamis between 9pm and 4am Pacific. Prior to then, I'm usually on my Crystal characters.
What criteria am I using for saying it's alive? I'm seeing other players on the Dynamis worlds when I'm doing open world content. I'm getting parties formed reasonably quickly when I queue for duties. What other criteria is needed?
Hmm, nah lmao. Just queue'd into alliance in Crystal, got it in less than 5 minutes. Try again.
I don't think you're understanding, is that people are PFing unsynced MSQ content because they can't get DF to que them into it at all. You can literally see that anytime btw.
So where's your evidence other than a "I saw exactly 10 people in a hunt train scheduled by discord"? You're doing the same thing lmao. Dynamis is only in a better spot because of DC Travel, and even then, it's still dead. DC Travel doesn't change that, I am so sorry to say.
I know someone's going to get upset that I'm nitpicking but can we please be honest about the fact that DC travel isn't as convenient as world travel?
It's not 30 seconds, nor in the snap of your fingers. Between logging out, waiting for the login screen to load, going through the process of of waiting for the transfer and then waiting to log in, it's somewhere around 3-5 minutes, depending on what server you jumped to.
Not exactly a lot, and I understand that the option is there, but it also adds up, especially when you consider all the different activities you have to go back to your own server for.
30 minutes is pretty standard. Alliance raid for me in prime time is between 30-60 minutes with other roulettes about the same, queue pop at 45 minutes tonight. The DC is dead, it's especially noticeable given the tome event that's supposed to encourage you to run old content.
The people who leave to go queue on Crystal are a huge contributing factor about why it's so dead.
It's not that fast, but if you want to do something as crazy as alliance roulette, you'll save time. Alliance is still a poor example to show. People don't want to do that with a bunch of alts because they know what's going to happen. Stop acting like that roulette wasn't a hot topic in the last month.I know someone's going to get upset that I'm nitpicking but can we please be honest about the fact that DC travel isn't as convenient as world travel?

Of course, we're still in December. People are still out there, doing other things while they wait for the patch (Dragonflight included).

"as crazy" LMAO dude I just did one, just fine, no wait or hassle at all on Crystal, something that is still a struggle for Dynamis. It's not that fast, but if you want to do something as crazy as alliance roulette, you'll save time. Alliance is NOT a poor example to show my dude. Other data centers (save Materia, of course) have no problem queuing into, again, VERY normal content. People are doing other things all the time, even during the content drought (right now), I can still easily get into a queue.
Also, there's something to be said that people generally don't want the hassle of DC Travel to another server every. single. time. they want to do basic ass content. People want to do things in their server because.. well, that's the server that they picked. But they can't do that if those parties can't fill.
Can we talk about how I totes predicted that you'd make up another excuse btw?
Dynamis has already proven to me yet again why I run solo. Was invited to join an FC on Marilith, logged off to get some sleep, came back to find myself kicked and the fc leader who seemed very happy to talk last night was ignoring my messages asking him why.
Seriously.
Ill be founding my own solo fc soon.
'but MMO means you need to play with others"..yeah no thanks.
I get a DM asking to join an FC about every 5 minutes but pretty much all of them are just people wanting to get the bare minimum to have a free personal FC house. I don't sign on.Dynamis has already proven to me yet again why I run solo. I get the feeling most FCs aren't looking to do content, but just get a house for the lead.
