Except what you're describing is peak times, and even during peak times, PF at least is still dead lol. Past peak? Yeah you're not getting anything. Frontlines? Yeah, also not getting anything lol.

What criteria are you using that it's alive? Just because you can successfully que for things on Materia during peak times doesn't make it any less dead, also doesn't really change the fact that most people are not queuing for content in Dynamis. Doesn't also invalidate the fact that people are waiting nearly an hour or over on Dynamis for certain ques.

It's like saying getting 1x peak rush hour a day in a restaurant means it's alive.

It doesn't have enough players to do bare minimum content.
There are frequent PFs from players begging for someone to run Alliance Raids, or even unpopular dungeons unsynced just to get through them.
I dont know how you get any more dead than that, not being able to fill out 4 player content quickly.

Seems like just about everyone in this thread is using PF as proof that Dynamis is dead. Is that not why you're traveling to other data centers, so you can use PF there?

Do you genuinely not see the irony in your statement when you are traveling elsewhere to find people to fill spots in group for the content you want to do while not being interested in filling spots in groups for other players trying to get the content they want to do done? That's all PF is - a way to find people to fill groups just as Duty Finder is.

Well thats more of a symptom of DC Travel in the first place, its had a negative effect on every single data center that isn't named Aether. You cannot clear the current Savage tier in Crystal PF, it doesn't get the parties.

In many ways, Dynamis was robbed of what little players it has by the existence of DC Travel, though a lot of those players likely wouldn't have transferred in the first place if it wasn't for that system.
The only take away from this is that the Dynamis expansion in the first place was unnecessary. Maybe back during the rush of Endwalker, but definitely not now.

If you don't care about the population on Dynamis and you've been using data center travel since it was first implemented, why are you complaining?

I'm not. I know you love to shove your own words down other peoples throats, then argue with that instead to make yourself sound smart, you really need to stop it its a bad habit.

Its not a complaint to say Dynamis is dead, its a statement. People are talking about why here, some are upset, some aren't. Doesn't matter how you feel about it, its a fact that the DC is currently dead.
I just don't care about being on a dead server.

I'm glad that Zepla has come over to Dynamis. If more streamers/content creators do so as well, it might very well bring life to Dynamis and more players will follow suit.

The servers are going to fill up. This isn't a Materia issue it's just a matter of time and it won't take that long. Not sure when the other 4 servers are coming they may have mentioned it but that will do a lot to help kick start the DC.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with DC traveling in the interim and/or doing a combination of local queuing or traveling.

I'm sitting in a Pvp queue now on Sophia and it's been 20 minutes. Couldn't get it to queue yesterday after 80 minutes and this is prime time on that DC. There is an issue here but not on Dynamis.

Its weird that NA players complain about this stuff, yet those of us that spent 8+ Months on materia had NO access to DC travel and know exactly what it feels like to play on a dead datacenter.

DC travel is a complete and utter blessing, and Dynamis is in a much better off having access to a playerbase on another DC than having to sit through 10+ hour alliance roulette queues.

Yikes, that does seem rather bleak, given that it's currently Friday primetime hours for Oceania and there's additional incentives to pvp for Mogtomes farming.

I'm really sorry for you but I suspect this is gonna be a regularity for Oce players unless another WoW exodus happens or 7.0 brings in a bunch of new players.

OCE is a fun chill server for me. I'm able to get my gear/tomes and new game content done. Hunts work just fine which is how I cap most of my alts and main. At the moment I'm in a chill status until 6.3 but that doesn't make the situation a good one. I'd like to do pvp, I do it on Dynamis by DC traveling to Siren mostly where I have friends. I have a personal and a FC house on Dynamis and I'm not in the least bit worried that DC will fill up and fully function like any other DC over time.

Ultimately when the next xpac hits this DC will most likely explode with new players as I suspect other servers will be hitting congested status soon enough. The whole purpose of adding a DC was to spread out populations that will happen as SE puts the cap on over crowded ones.

By the way I gave PVP 35 minutes then left for crystal where i have events to do on alts. I do feel bad for those who have mains on Materia and who are trying to get some content done like raids and so on. 8 man, 24 man and certainly 72 man are a real issue for sure.

I can't say that I'm happy with the type of players a twitch streamer brings over, but I guess if it reduces queue times from the 45+ minutes I've been getting on alliance and levelling roulette at peak times, or over an hour I waited last night for a Dun Scaith queue to try to do the tome event.
