Returning Player wanting to reset stats

Hello me and my friend are returning players. My freind is looking to reset his stats on his archer because when he logged out at the start of 2011 he was on his archer but had attributes on INT and MND for crafting reasons. Now he has returned these stats have become the BASE STATS for his Archer and he cannot change them, we come to find there is no point reassignment anymore and that we would have to search for "the keepers hymn".. so we did finding out that it only resets 45 points to distribute, but his MND and INT are still incredibly high for an archer. Is there anyway to do a full reset on these stats for returning playing before the patching began?

Help from a game developer/designer would be greatly appreciated.

If he hasn't applied any point to any job since they changed the attribute system then it already did completely reset stats. Before the change you applied points to the character, not the class so each class would be reset to 0/base when the allotment system changed.

What lvl is his archer? You aren't allowed to put points on until 25 or 30 so that may be why he is unable to add points to archer if it is below that lvl. You get keepers hymn after unlocking a job (for archer = bard) at lvl 30. Yes the Hym only gives you a fraction of your points back, but as I said if he never applied any points to archer since the system change, his points should be at the base anyway.

You can see i have points on STR and DEX that i dont want they've remained the same since i left at the start of 2011, I came back and i cant reset them, so is that the base stat for a lalafell?

I clicked on your link and it said you are currently a THM. So as long as you have not allotted any points to THM since they changed the system those would be the base THM values. If you switch to a Gladiator, Marauder, or some other class then go back to that stat screen the values will be different, because stats are now set per class, not per character. Hope this helps.
