I think it might even up as the system allows folks to time out again, but they need to implement a method of forcing folks who got grandfathered in with the system in the first place lose all but one of their plots.

Mogshop should sell a minion that is a cardboard box. Working like the sun minion, you can position it in someone's garden and sit inside.
(Only a few weeks to go for 6 more wards - so put your bid in ON A SMALL PLOT IN GOBLET if you really want a house, stop trying to get a LB41 and throwing your hands up in disgust)

I disagree, it will be the only chance for one to get a LB-41 when the new wards open.Mogshop should sell a minion that is a cardboard box. Working like the sun minion, you can position it in someone's garden and sit inside.

If anything, go for your dream plot and if that fails, there's still plenty of small plots to go around next round whereas if you go for a Goblet small the 1st round, you can forever say byebye to ever getting an upgrade to a LB-41.
Your words will not trick me!

Assuming you have the gil you can buy multiple auction tickets (different locations) at the same time. So you can if you want to bid on 5 different med houses and a few smalls to better ensure you get a house.I disagree, it will be the only chance for one to get a LB-41 when the new wards open.

Umm, no, you can't do this. You get one bid per character per Lottery period. One. That's it.

I thought you needed 8 fc members (turning it into a method of gauging active fcs against inactive ones, I always felt an fc should lose all the money they bid if they win, not just the winning bid and keep the money from all their other buds but that's just me)
You mean to set up a FC and enter in a lottery for a FC house? I'm not sure where you're getting the number 8 from.
Requires a petition holder and 3 signatures from other characters to set up a FC. It can be done using just 2 service accounts (whether owned by the same or different players) - one has the character with the petition, the other has the characters for the other 3 signatures needed.
The FC needs to have 4 members to enter the lottery. Only the members that have been in the FC for 30 days or more can enter on behalf of the FC.
If someone wants to stack the odds in their favor, they could use all 8 characters we're allowed to have on a single world and account in the same FC (though those characters would each have needed to be in the FC for 30 days.
It's not the number of members that defines an active versus inactive FC. It's whether any are logging in to play. A FC with only one player logging in is still an active FC.
Considering members are usually contributing their personal gil to enter for their FC (FCs have no good way to earn gil as a FC before they get a house), it would be more detrimental to legitimate FCs to require the gil from additional bids to be forfeited than it would be to wealthy individual players using solo FCs to get more houses. I could give up 200 million gil on some sort of gil sink (like buying more houses) and not care. Loss of that much gil would be devastating to most legitimate FCs and their members.
There are no good solutions here short of SE going to an instanced housing system so what one player or FC has makes no difference to what another player or FC can get. Any sort of restrictions that SE tries to place on ownership with the ward system will either also have ways to work around those restrictions or will add negatives to the game experience for those not trying to abuse the system.

I think it's more likely that there'll be 3 fc wards and 3 player wards each myself.

8 Tickets for your own House if you set it up as an FC.
