    Even though I'm not I would like it if what we got was better and that they found a way to add it to the console version. I'm not very sure how well received Destiny's color blind options work, but at least they could check it out to see how they could get something to work on consoles.

    That I can agree. The game DOES have at least some leeway for colourblind people. Again, they were gracious enough to provide for Mt Gulg, and Bozja's Mandragora had patterns. As well as the Limit Cut squares/triangles on Kampy.

    But it doesn't work all the time. When it comes to the in-game shaders, for example, they work up to a certain point. On the fights that actively require you to have a better grasp of the information being displayed, they're just as much of a hell as otherwise. I can tell that there are stuff that I need to pay attention to in P3, for example. Especially the adds, because they're dark and not bright. The fight isn't that big a hellhole. But in P3S, I couldn't even tell where the tank thether was, and I got clipped by an AoE that I wasn't seeing (it's the cross lava thing, I can't tell half the time it's there until it's grown that large). And the shaders did not help.

    The issue there was a lack of foresight, really. Even for non-colourblind people those fights can easily get annoying, either because colours blend with eachother or due to glare. And it's nice that Square at least acknowledges there are multiple types of colourblindness. But the shaders aren't the end-all, and those tricks really do help. ESPECIALLY in fights designed to be so glaring or so dark. Going for a strict colour range might not be so ideal sometimes :x

    If there's any saving grace is the fact that though the shaders aren't perfect, at least they're not the colourblind mode in League of Legends. "What does it do?" you ask?

    it changes your health bar to a different colour than your team's. And that's all.

    Oh, what, you can't see Cho'gath's ult's indicator, or some Warwick Skins become a messy blur to you? lmao get used to it
