    More seriously, FFXIV is kind of a “cutscenes game”, so if you don’t like them, as others said, skip them. I always thought it was nice from SE to warn us about some possible lengths.

    Hold your horse there Sonic, you need to ease it a bit, that way you can all enjoy it and let it last longer.

    ...ok but no really, when they say "get sufficient time", they mean "make sure you're not going to be interrupted for the forseeable future". You then have to gauge yourself what that might mean. I generally tend to estimate a duration of Old Praetorium runs.

    So 15m, 30m, an hour? Make an educated guess on your life and prepare for "a while".
