I don't macro the SC and raise since there could be mechanic interruptions. I have a simple party message "Walk it off, <t>" to let any other rezzers know I have X person then hit my SC and raise the normal way. I see the more involved macros and it's like, eh, not my thing, but go have your fun. If I'm seeing it that often, then there are bigger things in that party to worry about.

    I hate raise macros.

They often have way too much text for offering a usefull information (who is getting raised) and their only purpose is to make fun of the person who died it seems.

Even worse when they have a sound effect.

I once was in a 24 man raid and the other two parties kept dying over and over and our healer with the funny sound macro spammed the raises... it was soooo annoying.

It’s a good thing not to answer your enemies. I scarcely ever do. Perhaps Emily is more like me than I am like myself. Perhaps she would rather not answer her friends, even. She keeps it all in her heart.

I've been complimented on my Raise macro too many times to ever get rid of it:

Now Loading <t>'s Previous Save File... <se.2>

I forget which sound effect I use but you get the idea. :P

I just use one for stating my cooldown on swiftcast, if I can't hardcast raise at the time due to currently ongoing mechanics/damage.

    /p Swiftcast Cooldown : <recast.Swiftcast>

Going back to raise macros + emotes - how well does this actually work? I would assume that the raise animation would cancel out any emote being used, so this would only be effective on a sc+raise. If the emote is part of their macro, then that would also get canceled by them giving some health back to that person, or jumping back into pewpewing if someone else took care of that. If they're literally standing around doing nothing for 5 seconds or so after a raise, that's dumb.

At any rate I'm having a hard time seeing how this would play out properly. lol. I've never seen it in-game personally.

When you deal with human beings, never count on logic or consistency.

Never had a problem with my raise macro. Guess I’ll look on changing it.

Just wish you didn’t lose that mana if you raised someone at the same time as another player did

I never really understood the point of rez macros as the relevant information is already being displayed on the party list. Still, I don’t mind macros with short and to the point messages but if the person starts filling my chat window with long messages, ascii bs and/or uses sounds they will end up on my blacklist.

The point of res macros is to make somebody pay attention to them.

Those using res macros (outside of a simple swiftcast and res combo macro) are those who didn't get enough love and attention from their parents growing up, so they scream at the top of their voices in a dungeon in a nope that for just one second of their life, somebody thinks about them.

When, exactly, did you get your certificate as a licensed therapist? Because your apparent armchair psychological analysis is both ridiculous and dangerous. I give it a solid 0 out of 10.
