Can rezzers please have a separate rez macro without the emotes?

Thats the exact issue though. People overdo it because they feel like they need an spammed macro instead of looking to see if they are casting. Unless you’re in a vc with your co-healer to call out your raising then one or both healers already pressed swift once they saw a person died if they are able to safely. The only way I could see it being useful is if you had to wait for a mechanic to resolve and no one had done it yet. But even then it comes back to with it being instant one or both might have already swift’d or are casting which its just a matter of looking at the bars to see. I think macros are a nuisance unless its something like a tank invul so you know you can just dps for a bit and not worry about his hp. Maybe some dps ones? Not sure of other uses.

1.) I specifically replied to RitsukoSonoda because they gave me the impression that they misunderstood the OP's message. I am not sure why you respond to my response.
2.) I literally posted the two lines necessary for a clear Raise macro that will get the message across without exceeding 50 characters in a message, making it easier to read. If people consider their overdone uwurawrXD macros valuable that is on them but is no reason why I should accept it.
3.) Tank invuln macros are generally bad practice unless you do the callout on a separate button. You don't want action delay on high impact abilities.

I just stopped using macros entirely because 9/10 I've already hit swift+raise before my co-healer even moves to hit their macro. XD

I feel like they're a waste if you have good reaction time and are actively watching the fight/peoples bars for things that could kill them.

i’m pretty sure you can report the /sweep people. wasn’t that a big enough issue in pvp they had to release an announcement saying it was reportable? if you’re offended by it then report, otherwise i guess ignore it. to me all macros, raise or otherwise, feels useless. i really hate the sound effect ones the most though lol

Agreed, if someone feels they *need* to have one, and many times as Lianathorne unless my co-healer is really fast / I'm having bad lag/ just having one of those days - I've already raised them. Macros are usually slower or can even just bug, even on a simple raise macro.

Like I am completely for being decent to your fellow players, and I think far too many people fail at that with their interactions in XIV, but that still doesn't mean you need to report every little slight. A person using an emote in a snarky way is such a minor thing, ignore it, chuckle, scream back at your monitor, whatever, but a report is ridiculous. I truly wonder how some of these people act when out and about in the real world. Sadly for them, there's no one they can run and tattle to whenever they feel they've been slighted.

As far as raise macros go, I don't really like them, but I don't overly mind them as long as they're not insanely long or full of gibberish. If your message makes it hard to quickly see who you're even raising, that's a fail. The worst offender I've seen lately was someone who had a macro that spanned two full /p messages. Don't be like that. ._.;

maybe you should re-read? i didnt say i was going to report them, but if someone is offended by it enough to start an entire thread over it then they must feel there is a need to report them. let the GMs decide. frankly, i'd just ignore it (or not even notice it tbh).
