    Can rezzers please have a separate rez macro without the emotes?

    I don't mind a single emote the first time you res somebody.

    Funny. We all love a good chuckle at the fact that your character suddenly switches to doing a bit of sweeping and then "cleaning up the trash" before the res. Absolute riot. I don't know how I can focus on healing the rest of the group with that sort of laughter running through me.

    However, the 2nd/3rd time you do it? Starts to wear pretty thin. Doesn't even go back to being funny the 4th time. That Main Quest trial didn't go well, as I pumped out 2 res too. People loved running off the side of the platform and didn't learn their lesson.

    So, please for all that is holy, make a separate macro for raising people. Please.

    Get all your insane humour out on the first one, and the second just raise them. Nothing else.

    That's a bad ress macro to use with randoms? Nonsense, that's the best time to use it.

    Woah, that's asking a lot for mentor. Maybe just turning off the TV/monitor would be better.

    /ac "Raise" <?>
    /p <se.x>{Raise} => <?>

    Replace "Raise" in action line with corresponding ability (Raise, Resurrection, Ascend, Egeiro, Verraise), keep the {Raise} the same for clarity.
    Replace "?" with targeting mechanism of choice (<t> current target, <mo> mouse-over, <1-8> party list number).
    Replace "x" with sound effect number of choice, I recommend 10 if you want a clear loud one and 16 if you want a soft but noticable sound. Remove entirely if you don't want it.

    If you can't see my cast bar or targeting indicator that's your problem. I don't see the need to repeatedly state or announce things in game that should be obvious. I'm not a little fairy following a kid around that's wearing a green tunic... >.>

    I did however make a macro that shouted "MOAT CARP GET ON MY HOOK!" for fishing in FFXI when I decided I wanted a Lu Shang's Rod...

    OP asked for those who overdo it with the macro messaging on Raise to cut it down a bit. Nobody has a problem with you not using a macro, so I'm not sure what purpose your response has.

    Thats the exact issue though. People overdo it because they feel like they need an spammed macro instead of looking to see if they are casting. Unless you’re in a vc with your co-healer to call out your raising then one or both healers already pressed swift once they saw a person died if they are able to safely. The only way I could see it being useful is if you had to wait for a mechanic to resolve and no one had done it yet. But even then it comes back to with it being instant one or both might have already swift’d or are casting which its just a matter of looking at the bars to see. I think macros are a nuisance unless its something like a tank invul so you know you can just dps for a bit and not worry about his hp. Maybe some dps ones? Not sure of other uses.

    1.) I specifically replied to RitsukoSonoda because they gave me the impression that they misunderstood the OP's message. I am not sure why you respond to my response.
    2.) I literally posted the two lines necessary for a clear Raise macro that will get the message across without exceeding 50 characters in a message, making it easier to read. If people consider their overdone uwurawrXD macros valuable that is on them but is no reason why I should accept it.
    3.) Tank invuln macros are generally bad practice unless you do the callout on a separate button. You don't want action delay on high impact abilities.
