Not perfect of course, but I think assassins creed had done a damn good job with overall movement and jumping. Its very fluid, so fluid almost feels slowed anbit, which is what attracts me to ffxiv. 2.0 please dont take it away.Avatar:
Realistic. You felt as if that world existed. (again subjective)
Video Games:
Never happened yet.
There has not been nor will I think there ever will be a game that renders someone jumping but first squatting, going into there, having a brief pause than landing and squatting to break the impact.
Running and jumping has NEVER been rendered realistically in game.
It's a waste of resources and time; you would then have to account for any and all things you would possible land on.
What happens when you hit a fence by accident?
Do you trip?
Does your character fall down like a child and get a cut on your knee?
Name me ONE game that shows this as prior art; with "REALISTIC" gameplay; specific to jumping and I'll go buy it right now to try it out.
