As long as I can still re-map jump to a key other than space, I'm happy. lol

Took me ages to get used to hitting space to type in the first place. (Used to FFXI).
Now that I'm used to it, I don't want to be leaping every time I try to type. XD

(If a community rep is reading this, pretty please make keys re-mappable on PS3 version too? :x )

I think that everyone should also keep in mind that the people who complain on these forums is 3% or less of the actual player population (according to recent player polls). And that most of their complaining shouldn't be taken seriously . It's like taking 5 people and saying that they represent the entire player community.

Yes because a 2012 MMORPG with world class graphics but lacking a standard feature like Jumping would really make XIV stand out and beat all other MMORPGS.

Screw GW2 or Terra and WOW, the lack of jumping is really what will appeal to the masses. Simply genius.

i think that's essentially the idea behind an official jump toggle. which is why this entire thread is so ridiculous. who would want to see someone sliding up a platform standing still? if anything, that would be more distracting than an actual jump lol
