Why exactly do we need jumping?
In your own words please. Don't say to clear small ledges which block your way. That is a problem with map interference. Jumping is a patch job to fix it but the core issue is map design which you do not think should stop you. A context sensitive auto-hurdle would solve the issue without adding a distracting element to gameplay and is honestly easier to code and manage.
So again, what precisely is the driving motive behind Jumping? Aside from other MMO's have it and so should everyone else by default?
