oh 1 thing that jump was actually going to do was interrupt spell casting apparently.

Based on the interview with yoshi it seems to be little more than a emote tied to a button adding little to actually game play. I sincerely hope I'm wrong and that we'll be able to use it to traverse terrain or maybe get some light platforming elements...but it looks highly unlikely that this is the case.

Please no platforming elements... I fail at platforming so hard it isn't funny. I don't want to have to yell for my 15 yr old to come do the jump for me every time...

If I wanted platforming mechanics... I would go play a platformer.
