I'm sorry..what was that about them having nothing better to do than work on meaningless features? People weren't complaining about helmets or their weapons always being out yet they incorporated said toggles for the people who wanted it. >.>

That feature is part of many MMOs, didn't you know that miss i played everything else out there not just XI? So i wouldn't call that meaningless and making an item show or not on your character and making a jumping player look like he is standing still are 2 different things.

The later one is not even doable Miss i do programing and games in my free time.

Your logic however stated that it would be a waste of time for them to add a toggle for this, when they're more than happy to add toggles for other non essential gameplay elements. (You can't hide your weapons in battle, so as said toggling mh display was pretty much just fan service due to people not liking seeing the weapons while wearing a bikini.)
