Oh don't worry both sides have had some pretty downright silly comments. I just find it funny how quick those who wanted jump were allover those who asked for something different once they got it.
Oh wow, you're one of those. I should have worked it out by your less than intelligent posts, and stupid signature.Abyssea destroyed 8 years worth of balance and battle mechanics in a single expansions. Completely nulled out a majority of what FFXI memorable and engaging and was a massive slap in the face to players who spent months if not years accomplishing a feat only to have new players do the same in a matter of days. FFXI is not FFXI anymore.
Had they not ruined it I would happily be biding my time there until 2.0 hits to see if this whole gambit is even worth investing in. Now stop attacking every single ex-FFXI player with the tails debacle. That is MY bitchfit ammo. Dragon has nothing to do with it.
Because the game was so balanced before Abyssea right? You'd just bring every job to every event?
I brought PUP to every single End Game event, story line quests, ZNM, Nyzul Isle, I'minajar, and merit party I was in and preformed at or above the average performance for the function I chose to mantle. FFXI was remarkably balanced for how many jobs and the diversity of roles that needed filling. It wasn't perfect but nothing ever is.
Also you seem like a big doody head and probably smell funny. See? I can make false assumptions about other people too! ^ ^

Then you never helped and you were that unique snowflake everyone hates. How does it feel knowing that the rest of your linkshell carried you through. In fact if you liked PUP you probably should have rejoiced that you actually had some use in Abyssea and Voidwatch.
Please carry on talking about how your PUP was worthwhile in merit parties though.
Hahahhaa holy shit you're deluded. Anyways I've learned better then to try and change the mind of someone so dead set on being hostile. Enjoy your day friend. Then you never helped and you were that unique snowflake everyone hates. How does it feel knowing that the rest of your linkshell carried you through. Now back to the subject at hand. If this damn thing is going to happen the least they can do it put a good deal of effort into making it look and work well. I'm thinking a slight delay when you start a jump as your character steadies their leg and bends for the spring. Throwing their whole body into the hurdle. Keeping the height to a plausible low average and having a good landing animation. Put it together and it could be a tasteful, believable, and spam defuncting element of movement. A jump from start to finish should take a good 3-5 seconds before another can be started.
Provide a parse that shows how well you did. It's simple mathematics that proves how much of a bad DD PUP was. You supported worse than support jobs and DD'd worse than DD jobs. You were useless in any event that required magic bursts (The mass majority of events) and fed TP because you didn't have any native subtle blow traits. MNK (which was also pretty useless outside of salvage) out performed PUP in tanking and damage, and they weren't brought to any events either.Hahahhaa holy shit you're deluded. I must have struck a seriously sensitive nerve.
