    Dunno if you noticed but I said I can deal, and turn around. Saying a toggle would be worth something isn't QQing, not being able to jump and wanting it gone cause i just can't figure out how to make it work would be.

    So your also saying here that your ability to read is less than the tits, it's a non-functional jump mechanic, hence "No purpose". So let me know how your fince hopping goes.

    Thats different to me. The movement warms your body to fight the cold and the movement would throw them off of you. Thats not so bad. Btw, when I said annoying I didnt mean enough to make me complain about it.

    so where's the disable button for emotes, synthesis, battling, NPCs, 3D graphics, the color purple, hell people even existing. I hate people! I want to turn them off! Not their chat, I want to remove all you annoying people from my game!

    Christ, the things people whine about these days...

    Everyone finds a reason/excuse to be bothered by something. If you don't let it bother you then nobody will have any reason to abuse it.

    * The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.

    Wasn't the whole argument for jumping that it allows for more options? I don't see why a toggle that in no way effects jumpers themselves would be such a bad thing. It shouldn't be that hard to add either, considering that it's only an animation and your actual hitbox is still on the ground (if the no function interview is to be believed).

    You get arguments that tell us to just deal with it, but why? For an attention hogging animation with no practical use, a toggle would be a fine option to those of us that don't want to see it without bothering the experience of those that do.

    The devs can invoke an invisible wall around that little pebble and there will be no way for you to jump over it because of the invisible wall. Period.
    so please ever knowing one, tell me how a toggle will be the oh so wonderful solution of turning jump off so you won't see the jump mechanic happen.

    I'm dying to see what this would look like in game- not seeing a jump mechanic happen even though it is happening. /facepalm.

    In the end this entire thread boils down to not wanting jump, which is why I said the devs are already adding it due to not only PLAYER request but because it is an MMO standard.

    Pretty much the same as it looks now. People walking/running around. Jumping won't add anything to the gameplay, they where pretty clear about that.

    While choice is a lovely thing, I would first want to see what not seeing the jump animation while its happening would look like before I agree with a toggle to hide it. I mean if the character jumps but you don't see the animation, what WOULD you see? I find it hard to believe that it would be as if nothing happened (like now for instance, we have no jump... so would a toggle make it look like NOTHING happened at all? as in the character stays on the ground and no movement indicating an action was performed shows?) I mean imagine I jump over something, would a person with the toggle off just see me disappear and reappear where I landed? O.0" that would be odd as hell honestly.
