Can we make Eos and Selene one button?

Just wondering if we can make Eos and Selene one button. They can both be out and just hang around each other. Eos can do the animation for Whispering Dawn and Selene can do the animation for Fey Illumination. Then they can do a little dbz fusion animation or something for Seraph. They could even have a little idle animation where they chat. It's sad that they're sisters yet never get to hang out with each other.

That would be the ideal scenario, yes. As it is right now, it serves no purpose to have 2 fairies. Going even further, I think it would be nice if we had more fairies that all bring different benefits.

Missed opportunity to have AST and SCH be dual healers with the former having Diurnal/Noct and the latter having Eos/Selene. Also I feel like Dissipation should have been both faeries out at the same time.

Aw man, imagine if you had a mechanical choice between fairies and Dissipation temporarily gave you an improved version if the one not currently out.

Just make Eos summoned by default and just make that button swap fairy.

The day they make both pets different is probably the day they finally make Fairy skills work on their GCD (Pet GCD skills instead) rather than a command on the Scholar's part (Scholar oGCD -> Pet oGCD). Stormblood iteration of Scholar is pretty much the ideal way to control pet skill activations.
Otherwise we still have ridiculous amounts of Ghosting.

Yes I think this is the number one issue with fairies. They can keep "improving" the AI every other expansion but it will always be clunkier compared to literally every other oGCD in the game because you're commanding another entity to do it. Please bring back pet GCDs, and bring back manual Embrace and change Obey/Sic so the fairy only auto Embraces and not use her other spells.

Then have a single Summon Faerie button that has a cast time if no faerie is out but thereafter becomes an instant oGCD that quickswaps faeries. Potential button bloat eliminated. Regardless, swapping faeries to access the other set of actions needs to be instant and oGCD or else we'll still have the problem of people only ever using one of the faeries.

Agreed, if we want to encourage swapping Eos/Selene consistently in a fight then there should be a way to change them losslessly. I'd personally like for Dissipation to change to that kind of oGCD, put it at 60/90s and make it swap the fairy and lock Summon for 20s, and it can put Rouse on her as well. Or it can grant 30 fairy gauge and change the gauge to a bar that Rouses the fairy since Aetherpact sucks and I hate it.
