I have my AoE rotations at like 6-7-8 number keys.
So during dungeon runs as DPS, I can put my whole hand in the middle of the keyboard and comfortably hit them and use the mouse walk to dodge mob aoes.

I tend to move with the mouse in dungeons too! I'm left handed when it comes to PC and I'm not used to WASD at all. Mouse movement is a lifesaver for me.

I was one of only 4 mnks on my server with a fully upgraded relic from dynamis. I played XI for 10 years. The game wasn't difficulty, it was just a massive time sink that back in the day required you to be in a group for even the most basic content. I loved XI and have a ton of amazing memories playing it, but I would NEVER play a game like that today.

I use an MMO mouse, have also mapped strafe to A and D with Legacy movement. Basically none of my key binds are stock, I mean why have that customization and NOT use it to your benefit? The way I have things set I basically gather only with my mouse, whilst sipping coffee or other...ahem...beverages. When in combat I use a mix of mouse only and WASD so I can type in chat etc. I do use controller on my laptop a bit, but I find it slow and cumbersome as I never really developed the muscle memory for it. I wish I could, menu access is sublime on controller, but the camera is sooooo slooooooowwww so I usually avoid it.
Don't touch me there
