Warriors are forged in fire. It is the privilege of lesser tanks to light the flame.-
I was grateful to you for sharing your time with me during those very unstable times. I still remember the dazzlingly bright morning sunlight after a long night.-
I occasionally use my mouse to move when I'm feeling lazy or if I need to press an ability and walk in a straight line at the same time.
It's difficult to explain but when you get used to being both your mouse and WASD, it increases your reaction time and allows you to keep using abilities on the move.
She's not talking about cliicking on the ground to move. She's talking about clicking both mouse buttons, which will cause your character to run in the direction the camera is facing. You can then move the mouse to turn the camera and the direction you're running at the same time.
I mouse move about 99% of the time.
Most of the time: WASD + mouse, RMB for camera + direction.
infight: sometimes only mouse with LMB+RMB (move forward in direction of camera).
But many fights require none or only little movement (left or right side of boss), that I don't even use my mouse unless I need to really move. So instead: WASD (A & D are turns; btw strafe when holding RMB).
Mostly mouse to move, yes. (and my wheel press is bound to toggle autorun)
I rarely W/A/D, but I do S/Q/E a lot.

W & S to move most of the time. Mouse is there to change my direction and/or camera angle.
A & D is to strafe when needed.
I set auto-run on [']. Yeah, that's pretty far away but that's because I tend to misclick it at wrong times so I'd rather have it somewhere safe from fat fingering.

You and I have wrote our piece(s). We don't necessarily need to change each other's mind. But we can change other's."
No, I almost never use mouse to move. I'm a WASDior of Light!
R auto walk for a lot of the travels, i don't need a pre-emptive tendinitis. In raids tho, wasd + mouse force targetting / force "camera view/ facing" all the time.
Sort of. I primarily use the thumbpad on my Taratus for movement but sometimes will hold the right mouse button and move my mouse to fine tune the direction or facing if needed.
Yes, I use the mouse to run. middle finger scroll bumps for auto run. Camera turns with mouse. I generally turn and adjust directions on the move with space bar jumps combined with the mouse control. My mouse run "training" was long ago from games that used this style, but have trying to adjust and use the WASD and those methods lately.
