PC players: do you use your mouse to walk?

I had some issues in a dungeon earlier with my mouse.

The sensitivity shot up, so I couldn't walk in a straight line easily.

I told the rest of the dungeon, and they said that using a mouse to move is odd (but they may have been new?)

Does anybody else solely use a mouse to walk in this game? Press both mouse buttons at once and move about. I find it gives much more precise movements (unless ya mouse breaks), and it is a bit easier to angle the camera, etc. during dungeons.

Very occasionally when I need to take a sip of coffee but for the most part I navigate with WASD with A and D rebound to strafe.

Yes, but it's a heavily hybrid situation. Long distance, hit the auto-run button, steer with mouse. Small distances with a lot of turning, probably the mouse. Short-range dodging, probably WASD. General movement and dodging, WASD with liberal use of holding right-click to assist in camera turns and possibly holding left-click to move forward while doing character turns/strafing with AD.

No, I use WASD.

I'm aware that the mouse can do this. It's annoying when I do it by accident. It's interrupted a cast or made me walk off the edge. Hasn't happened much though.

WASD and I move the camera with the right click. Auto run is bound to a middle mouse button for easy access.

This one. I'd kinda hate if all movement was also bound to the camera. Sometimes I want to move in one direction while I point the camera somewhere else.

Would be super nice if the camera would stop trying to auto-snap back behind me while auto-run is moving.

Most of the time yes, at times i use arrow keys though
