Gil faucets: What am I missing?

Not really. If it's just opening maps, Ram's Voice and Ultravibration is mostly all you really need. Pretty sure most/all map mobs are vulnerable to instant death. Although, do run into problems with any that spawn in waves. Gets a bit tedious.

If we're talking Uznair.. I recall having trouble managing to solo as BLU. Aquapolis was pretty easy, tho.

Yeah I was thinking of Uznair where you can't use RV/UV. You want some of the higher potency attacks that you'll have to farm up for apparently.

I have admittedly never done it myself but I did look into it a really long time ago and I read a whole google doc on it(sadly).

It sounded like something that required more patience than I cared to give at the time. Maybe next year, we'll see an update and cap raise in 6.45 and it'll be easier.

Levequests are probably the biggest source of easy gil at 9-11K a pop from the level 90 CUL/ALC leves.

1) it's current post nerf value. Even better, it's for the delivery of just one HQ item batch, so you don't have to craft three batches of an item to get them. If you have both at level 90, you are in because you can craft both and then pick the lion's share from the level quests.

It's whatever you feel like producing. There's only a ~30 gil difference in the base rewards.

This. I think I do carrot nibbles because everything can be gotten from a botanist retainers ventures. Really just depends on whatever is convenient for you.

9 digit figures for RP "slaves" is a very extreme example. There's very little out there in that category. Most players only really have a few million and 10-50m+ is considered well off.

The game is in a strange spot right now where becoming very wealthy is restricted to small 1-2 week windows at the start of major patches. All the other months huge sums of gil are reserved for bots and those with a very good knowledge of marketing. The rest of the population just gathers scraps. Compare this to the earlier expansions (ARR to StB) where you could make hundreds of millions at any point of the patch via crafting.

Generally the richest players are either veterans who have a few billion from years ago, or people who no-life'd week 1 of patches.

That said, even though the ability to earn gil is massively reduced, it's not too hard to earn enough for most things you might want. Being rich is just for the sake of being rich, but most buyable things in the game are accessible to everyone.

For instant raw gil it probably is.

If you want to sell things on the marketboard and are patient, there are better options (realm and/or rng dependent).

Indeed, getting gil used to be quite easy (being relative). They have reduced or removed many ways of doing so nowadays it requires at times much effort to get it.

This and other materials like it (market prohibited, 600 seals, vendors for 360 gil) are the method I inferred to in my OP. It's a great quick stackable seal dump with no MB gambling. It's a great way to get comparable gil to vendoring greens by dumping greens for seals and just instantly monetizing those seals. If you save chestpieces and weapons for the vendor and GC-donate everything else, you'll basically break even for much less time than it takes vendoring the gear itself. As an altoholic who lives in duty support, my FC loves me!

Ok stupid question: I have every crafting job at 90... how do I unlock level 90 DoH levequests? I can't believe I couldn't find this easily.

Oh... it's the 88 quests at HQ, right?
