Gil faucets: What am I missing?

Two questions here:

1) Didn’t leve payouts get nerfed, or is 9-11k (still awesome) a current, post-nerf value?

2) I have capped blue mage but I don’t know Jack about treasure maps. As a 90 Omni crafter/gatherer and capped blue mage, are SB maps a wholly solo thing?

1) it's current post nerf value. Even better, it's for the delivery of just one HQ item batch, so you don't have to craft three batches of an item to get them. If you have both at level 90, you are in because you can craft both and then pick the lion's share from the level quests.

2) they are soloable as BLU, but don't take my word for it since I haven't tried it.

It's got some hefty spell requirements. It's absolutely doable, just takes some set up.

Not really. If it's just opening maps, Ram's Voice and Ultravibration is mostly all you really need. Pretty sure most/all map mobs are vulnerable to instant death. Although, do run into problems with any that spawn in waves. Gets a bit tedious.

If we're talking Uznair.. I recall having trouble managing to solo as BLU. Aquapolis was pretty easy, tho.

Yeah I was thinking of Uznair where you can't use RV/UV. You want some of the higher potency attacks that you'll have to farm up for apparently.

I have admittedly never done it myself but I did look into it a really long time ago and I read a whole google doc on it(sadly).

It sounded like something that required more patience than I cared to give at the time. Maybe next year, we'll see an update and cap raise in 6.45 and it'll be easier.

It's whatever you feel like producing. There's only a ~30 gil difference in the base rewards.

Ok stupid question: I have every crafting job at 90... how do I unlock level 90 DoH levequests? I can't believe I couldn't find this easily.

Oh... it's the 88 quests at HQ, right?

There are no 90s, if that's what you're looking for. It's the 88s
