What's your go-to game when you are suffering from Burnout?

My sub just ran out yesterday, I think I'll switch to swtor again since the new season is on. I'm also curious to try Dragonflight (haven't played seriously since Cata), but I don't think I can afford big purchases for now.

I'm also enjoying the release version of Bannerlord and the occasional CP2077

Kind of depends on my mood. But can vary between Battlefield or one of the many backlogged RPGs I'm sitting on(currently working on Trails of Cold Steel II-first play through- and Star Ocean when not playing XIV)

FF11 (since I recently picked it up for the first time),

PSO2:NGS (perfect time to start as it's getting an expansion in December and extremely customizable instanced housing in the works)

In the realm of single player I'm wrapping up Alice: Madness Returns and have been having an itch to play the original Mass Effect trilogy & Red Dead Redemption 2 lately.

Ooo PSO2:NGS is getting an expac next month!? Time to reinstall

Dragon's Dogma would be a great game to pick up if you like single player RPGs, trust me youll be glad u got it, can't say enough good stuff bout that game.

If you like shooters then Rogue Company is pretty awesome as well, 3rd person shooter, kinda reminds me of Overwatch meets Uncharted.

Hopefully they are making a Dragon's Dogma 2, but Crimson Desert, if it ever comes out, look earily similar to Dragon's dogma combat system, but much more next gen.

I really thought that after Dragon's Dogma innovation on boss climbing and weak points, we would get rid of hitting huge bosses in the toes like in the witcher or even elden ring / souls game to kill giants... Still and 8 years of gaming later, same old of same stupid giant killing hitting foots.

I've been doing invasions in Elden Ring at level 200 lately, and honestly it's been kinda fun. I can go head on with max level bullgoat phantoms and not get instantly obliterated.

You would think that with my vast library of free monthly games I have yet to play from PS Plus, I'd actually get around to trying them out. But nope, just FFXIV majority of the time while trying to beat the KH 3 Limit Cut DLC mode the other part of the time. Valkyrie Elysium just added some free DLC, so when I get a chance, I'll switch to playing that some more.

Basically to answer the question, since I no longer have another game to fall back on (That honor went to the first OW once upon a time), I just play whatever JRPG I bought most recently.
