Thread: New retainer material feature in 6.3?

Anyone else really hope this means we can craft stuff with materials from our retainers without pulling them out?
this would be one of the biggest crafting quality of life changes ever if it's what we get

I hope this extends to dyes too, so I can finally declutter 1/3 of my inventory

If that is what they're up to, my expectation is that you'll either have to be in a house/room/inn/apartment with a retainer bell to do it, or even have a new "start crafting" option from the bell itself in addition to retainer selection(and then compounding that, it may be set up to only allow you to reference one retainer at a time).

Would be fine with that if it means i dont have to scrounge my retainers for mats whenever i want to craft xD

My guess is that we'll get the ability to transfer from one retainer to another without having to move it via our inventory first.

Keeping a stash of pigments and leaving other dyes on vendors would help with that.


He specifically mentioned materials, so it sounds like some way to access the retainer inventory while crafting, but only in certain area. This would then help with dyes and being able to craft them a little faster.

Like the app can since years now lol, yeah, i guess its that...

God, I hope so.

Since the unofficial translation has Yoshi-P's answer as:
"Y "There is one more update to your retainers inventory management but it is too difficult to put into text and words so I will show you during the next PLL, I think people who have a lot of materials stored will be really happy about this one""
It's probably not as simple as being able to craft using materials from your retainer.

Perhaps it's a material storage with split into tabs for each expansion.
