    My favorite new thing is news that finally, FINALLY, after being a player race you had to pay the full subscription fee to play as for 3 years of nothing, hrothgar are not only going to get all the new options viera got in 6.1 and 6.2 AND new options in 6.3, but also the same treatment every other race has in character creation, ie, being able to use any of their race-locked hairstyles regardless of face.
    Finally after 3 years theres a reason for me to give the dev team a pat on the back instead of thinking we're just a player race full of Harry's being shoved into a spare room when the Dursley's have company over. Only 3 years it took, wow, splendid!

    Yeah it will make you know you're not just wasting the one blocks magic CD on Drk on something that's not magical, but you pop it any way in hopes that it helps so you can go n cry in the corner when you end up dead knowing you at least tried.

    I just like being able to tell what's physical and what's magical than just randomly being hit with "Laser Canon: Parried!". Because some attacks are rather weird when you see the Parry message pop up. At least now GNB and DRK can use their skills a bit more reliably.

    You can both agree that its a bad policy to completely outlaw all mods and that its perfectly justified for those who ignore said policy to get banned when they broke it knowing what they were doing.

    Its valid for devs to want to protect the game's code. Its valid for players to want to customize and modify it beyond what devs would normally.

    It may not be a policy all agree on, and I myself think its somewhat anti-community; but also I think it's perfectly valid to ban those who break that policy, regardless of purity of their intentions. Rather than arguing for rulebreakers being not punished, argue for rules to be changed. Though that in its own right is extremely unlikely.

    Being able to see physical/magic damage is something I've wanted for a long while.

    There are so many weird attacks you can easily to assume to be physical from the animation, but are actually magical and vice versa, so finally getting some clarity about is wonderful.

    Yeah I'm not sure why it's taken them this long to implement that. People have been grumbling about it even back in Heavensward. It was one of those things that reminded me of how similar XIV'S devs were to the XI devs back when Tenaka was still part of the XI team and they'd make players jump through hoops just to try and understand things about a fight that for whatever reason they wanted to keep hidden in order to have the fights have some mystery. We have Fient and Virus the way they are now because people didn't know when to use them. Since they were to help soften certain attack types. Yet we wouldn't know which were what. So, anyone not a raider would either not use them at all or just pop them when they came off cool down as it's better to use it and hope it helps then have one more thing taken away due to no one using it. Maybe now that we will know the attack types they could change them back?

    Timers on buffs is a nice change. I didn't see a mention of damage type being shown on the cast bar (during which one would press Feint/Addle), which means the feature is still unfinished.

    I would say the Damage indicators but it looks really shit and it could clutter the screen with those icons, the Damage Info Plugin is far more superior than what they thought up.
    Damage Info also has Casting indicators which the castbar is the color of the type of Attack it is and they have Positional indicators so if you hit your positional the Damage numbers color changes to Red.

    Would've been much easier for the UI crew to just change the Damage numbers color

    Yellow = Physical
    Blue = Magical

    Simple straightforward and no needless clutter. The Damage Indicators they are presenting is like a Chinese knockoff

    Rant over and to answer the OP
    Best UI change is the Favorite Bait and buff timers
