I think we're far from done with the First (new crafter relics are starting there), so this could probably happen down the road.Personally I would've liked to see one on the First. Two random ideas I had:
1: Ronka. A set of shifting ruins, designed to test heirs to the Ronkan Empire, similar to Heaven-on-High, and to hide their arcane secrets. Lots of stone monsters and golems like those inhabiting the first section of the Qitana Ravel or the solo instance with the three Viis.
2: The Empty. Gated behind the Eden raids, a series of tunnels have been uncovered by Ryne and Gaia's restoration efforts, leading to a warped labyrinth full of Light-corrupted beasts and leftover sin eaters whose presence threatens to undo all of their hard work.
I'm not upset. Not yet at least. I personally wanted it to take place in The Cradle of Darkness on the moon. Some sort of residual effect Zodi left in that big ass pit. Dumb idea ik but eh xD
I've just resigned to calling it the stank pit.
Because Zodiark's been in there for eras. Just stuck to his waist. He's an eternal being made of aether, but I presume he produces waste. It's basically just accumulating there. Even if it's something far more neutral like aether, it's just gonna be stagnant aether that likely stinks by the time we unplug it.
Those aren't traces of dark aether.
Those are stink lines.
Ah…so that is basically a concept of a toilet given form by Hydaelyn herselfI've just resigned to calling it the stank pit.

The prayers of WoL all over the shards have had been answered all along.
If only we knew we could just ask the Lopopprits about it.
In any case, allagan ruin or not, I'm curious what they are going to do to make it different from the previous two deep dungeons.
potd had transformations. succubus for most bosses and earlier floors mass pulling with a partner, resolution for the last stretch of potd and 2 bosses, manticore when the rng was being an arse on a floor. While the manticore was fun to use, the other two were very situational and were practically useless in 101-200 most of the time.
hoh had giant rooms and magicite. One hit floor clears for the wind/fire/earth and a "fuck you Onra" or elder magicite for one shotting bosses. (me and my partner's first hoh was defeated by some bs from him and second time round we brought the elder for sweet catharsis)
I wonder what they are planning for the new one and will the devs remember that cc is practically nonexistent now because they keep dumbing down the job kits
wish me luck btw, this evening me and my partner are attempting to get through 191-200. so far nothing has compared to the 180 boss but that could change
Hardly anything has been shown about this new deep dungeon yet and already ppl are bitching and moaning about it? At least ppl could wait until the next LL when more info will be shown before passing judgement
More information isn't going to change the fact that it's more Allagan stuff, and that's the main complaint people have.
I have to admit I didn't see the whole Live Letter and the image I did see didn't really show anything, after a bit more looking I found the other image online that does show Allagan stuff.
Some of the posts I have seen in this thread sound like they are coming from petulent children stamping their feet, others have given some good ideas as to what it could have been.
We can only hope SE impliment them in some shape or form in content further down the line, I mean in 7.0 everything is supposed to change so they will have a fresh slate, so to speak![]()
I'd say the issue about that bit is that we don't really know the extent of what "season 2" will have. Will it be a fresh slate? And even if it is, the permeance of Allagans around the globe is hard to dodge, so we'll likely still have Allagan ruins elsewhere. ESPECIALLY in Meracydia, which seems like the best contender for the next area after the Void.
