Please add loot griefing to "Prohibited Activities"

If I want to guarantee myself the loot for a job then I play as that job. It sucks they took the wep for no reason but it doesn't really matter much either.

We respect the rng from the loot system in party finder, we get weeks with no loot and we're fine with it, but here my friend rolled a 98 and would've gotten it if it weren't for the GNB's scumbag move.
It gives more flexibility if we want to play multiple jobs, which we do.

Edit 2: oh boy, I can definitely see why the OP didn't want to share the source. Maybe I should take back that holierthanthou part. They do get quite spicy.

The dude was rude and trolled everyone. You weren't defrauded or griefed as the weapon was not promised to anyone. It's okay to be salty about it but acting like it belonged to anyone (unless otherwise stated from the start) is going overboard. This is the risk you take by doing your weeklies with randoms instead of with a group of people you know.

Simple solution: Remove the ability to trash your weapon in a dungeon.

Side note: As someone stated earlier, using your modded screenshots or Discord logs won't get you anywhere with the GMs as they don't care about Discord and you'll more than likely get smacked with a warning or temp ban yourself for waving proof of you modding in their faces. Remember, it's like fight club....don't talk about it.

I didn't send discord logs or whatever to the GMs, I only explained the situation and sent the chat logs in copy paste, which is all good, if he gets punished it's cool if he doesn't then whatever.
The thread is more of a suggestion to change the system or make it a punishable offense to do what GNB did. The modded screenshots aren't mine btw as I said earlier.

I do get the whole point of the loot not being promised to anyone, but people shouldn't be able to do it.

Because the only reason that prevents him from rolling is a technicality. You can't have two unique items in your inventory and this prevents you from rolling. Obviously if you remove the one in your inventory, you are free to roll. Game doesn't check someones' eligibility for loot outside of instance lockouts.

I’ll try one more time to explain this. When an item drops in WOW you are either eligible or not. A prime example is ilvl. You can’t trade an item if it’s an ilvl upgrade for you. Getting another item that would make it NOT an ilvl upgrade doesn’t suddenly let you trade it. Nothing you can change, changes your loot eligibility. If that’s not the case in FF (I couldn’t imagine destroying loot to take the same item from someone else) then it should be.

Basically cry more about party finder. It's the risk you take when you don't raid in a static, or turn to PF to fill a slot. There's no need for anything to change, and you're whining like a child. Yeah, it sucks that they did it but sometimes people suck.

"I'm not concerned by this so you're whining like a child" you just demonstrate that you're favorable of toxic behaviors so I don't understand where you're going now, if things can be improved and suggestions can be made then why not?
I wouldn't have gotten the weapon, I rolled 3 lmao, so it's all about fixing an obvious issue with people circumventing the loot system to grief other players, not everyone wants to play in a static and party finder sure isn't the best but it doesn't mean it's okay to be toxic there and grief other players.

I don't know where this whole defeatist mentality comes from, just because people can do it doesn't mean it's ok to do it, why are you so motivated in defending something that was done intentionally to ruin other players' fun.
I want the game to thrive and improve on many points since I love it hence the reason i'm here currently suggesting a change while you're literally saying "yeah it's fine to be a scumbag, i don't see the problem here, let other players grief you or play with a static why are you crying"

It is labelled as griefing literally everywhere in the thread, the title is "griefing", I referenced "fraud" once because what happened is close to a section from prohibited activities
