MSQ StormBlood won't complete

"Confront Shinryu in the Royal Menagerie". I successfully completed this quest and got no credit for it so I did it again and still no credit. Any ideas? I can't continue with my MSQ's until I get credit for this.

I was logged out for a couple of hours and decided to try again. This time I switched my Scholar to Ninja and it worked. Not sure if it was the switching to another Job or logging out and back in.

Ah yes, SE made it that you have to complete a story Duty as whatever Job or class you first accepted that quest as to credit it towards the quest objectives in the Duty List, so I assume you first acccepted that main scenario quest as NIN, thus it required you to switch it to NIN to complete it.

I have also heard at times there is often a lag with the game updating information when it comes to completing quest objectives for some reason - some players have had to log out and then log back in before it registers the quest as complete.

Either way, I'm glad you got it sorted out.

I have never heard of that being a thing for MSQ.

Considering the number of times that I've accepted a MSQ quest as a DPS, switched to healer or tank for the duty then forgotten to switch back to the DPS job to complete the quest, this cannot be true in general.

Is it true in the case of the final Stormblood quest? That I can't say. There's always a chance it's a bug in that one quest. I've got an alt about halfway through Stormblood MSQ. Maybe I'll find out when I reach that part.
