In-Game Bug - Trust NPC Levels reset to 80

Party or solo: Solo
In-game time: None
Area and coordinates: Trust Duty
Housing: None
Steps:
1. Loaded up Trust system to play through newer dungeons to gain better gear
2. Noticed all character NPCs could only to "Tower of Zot" at best and so did so to level them up. I did this 3 times.
3. I started to remember that I have done these many times before I stopped playing and checked the Duty list and quickly realised that I had levelled my characters to 90 before as I used to farm gear from "The End" (name may not be fully accurate: battle Prototype Omega chassis, cyborg dragons and big ball at the end) to use on other jobs for late game content
04. Concluded my Trust NPC's levels were reduced from 90 to 80 and confirmed this via internet forums and other players statements around the time it happened due to and update announcement (I was not an active player at the time)

Give the time and effort of completing all Trust Duties 9 times each to completely level all characters it is a task I would really rather not do again if it can be helped.

Firstly, this isn't the right subforum; there is a Bug Reports subforum.

Secondly, what "update announcement" are you talking about? The only sort of official reduction of EXP was with the launch of 6.0, which only lost the half-filled EXP bar for your current level and did not level anyone down. (Also, if there was an official announcement then it wouldn't be a glitch.)

Thirdly, if they were lowered to 80 then you could not access Zot with them anyway.

Fourthly(?), you definitely have your endgame dungeons mixed up, because trusts can't run "the one with prototype Omegas and cyborg dragons", although they can run the Dead Ends which has neither of those things.

Altogether I would guess that you haven't been using trusts at all, but the duty support system. (Similar function, different menu.) It lets you pick any trust-compatible dungeon without having levelled the trusts, but they do not receive EXP. That's the only way you could be running a level 81 dungeon with your trusts at 80.

fyi, the trusts can't be level 80 (apart from ryne), they go straight from 79 to 81 and estinien & graha start at 81. i think there might be some confusion bc of the renaming of trust avatar mode and scenario mode to just trust and duty support respectively in 6.1. the dungeon op seems to be talking about, "the stigma dreamscape", is not available to be run with either trusts or duty support, so i'm also confused about that detail...

Hmm, G'raha definitely joined as a level 80 in 5.3 but must have been adjusted upwards when they raised the level cap.

They’re capped at 80 for shadowbringers content but it was not required to level to 81 for those in endwalker. I had my trusts maxed at 80 and when I started endwalker everyone save for ryne was 81 already.

02. Clearly you didn't fully read what I wrote again as i did state i wasn't active at that time and that was told to me by other, trusted, players from different groups even.
03. I mistake on my part clearly but as you can maybe imagine, was a bit annoyed by the situation at the time so precise details avoided me, which leads nicely onto...
04. You're correct I mixed up Duties, "The Dead Ends" and "The Sigma Dreamscape" - thanks to friends I realised I indeed mixed up memories as I also did 90 Roulettes daily too and would use the Trust duties to build up other jobs to meet the 540 requirement for Expert.
05. Despite some mistakes on my part and misplaced assumptions on yours, you do seem to be able to direct me to the appropriate sub forum and I would very much appreciate the help.

do you remember if you got all trust avatars to 90? if so, do you have the achievement "bound by hope"? if you have that achievement, and your trust avatars are not all level 90, then something has definitely gone wrong.

to clarify, are you saying that you personally didn't read the "update announcement", but heard about it second-hand from other players?

I did tell you where to go? It's the Bug Reports forum. That's what it's called.

Or you can go direct to the In-Game Bugs sub-sub-forum if you prefer.

I did read what you said, and I asked for the source of it. I could have asked for the whole list - where you got the "internet forums and player statements" - but going straight to asking about the official announcement you mentioned seemed like the most straightforward start to it.

So, where are these forums and statements and announcements? Maybe they're not talking about what you think they're talking about, but we can't see what you're meaning if you don't link to the information.

I checked too and can see I do have the "bound by hope" achievement (took me a while to find it, Character - General section).
And yes, i heard about it 2nd hand from other players but i will say i trust their opinions and it was from other players of different groups.
