What do players even do during ERP ?

Had a guy have his girl sit and stand repeatedly while on a bench so I was like "Let's see where this goes if I sit on him too". She whispers to me "I hope you know he is hard" thinking it would gross me out or something.

I just replied "I'm good at clearing hard content". She didn't like my answer so they both left. Probably went to housing or somewhere private so people like me couldn't interrupt.

I don't think many people care about how the other person looks, when reading their smut.
I guess it's not much different than reading a steamy novel - it does not matter how the author looks, right? It's all about the novel's characters, and the same might be true for eRP.

Accurate. Have had friends in the past who engage in the nightlife scene and they really don't care about the appearance of the other person. In that space, you're viewed as your character and they're after the interaction with your character, not your real life self.

One in particular comes to mind, said person had a harem at one point consisting of like...7 people and he was fully aware that some were men. As long as they kept it to their female persona and didn't try to take it to a real life point, he didn't mind. I personally didn't understand it but hey...if it works it works. Wasn't my gig in the first place.
