Crazy Suggestion to help New Worlds

Several of us have been talking in one of the Dynamis community discords about players who have transferred to get a house but then spend almost all of their time on their old data centers. While leveling roulettes are going well, some of the others seem to be suffering and it's hard to tell how much is from a general lack of players on the data center and how much from many transferred players going to back to their old data centers instead of doing roulettes on Dynamis.

So crazy suggestion that may or may not be possible - increase the daily roulette bonuses when queuing from a New world. That would encourage some players to come to those New worlds and help improve the queue times not to mention perhaps socialize with players while there. It may also lead to more players deciding to transfer off their more populated worlds to help fill the new worlds.

I know it wouldn't be of as much help to Materia world populations as it would be to the new NA and EU worlds, but hopefully SE will enable cross region travel soon for the benefit of Materia. At least in the meantime, the Materia worlds would have that additional incentive that could entice players into transferring and staying.

I like this idea but not sure if they will/can do it. I made a character for there so I’ve seen the struggle to even get things done like primal hards as a healer.

That is a very good idea. I moved over to Dynamis and have spent all my time on other data centers when I queue. Frontline queue on Dynamis is always 30m or more sadly. I think leaving my house to try a new dc may have been a bad decision. I assume things will improve in time though.

Same here. I goto Crystal for FL, wife does as well.

But ya this same thing happened when I first moved from Balmung to Goblin some 5-6 years back.

It will balance out over the next half a year. And when 7.0 drops with 4 more new servers (in Dynamis) it will probably be completely normal.
Biggest issue with the Q in Dynamis is we only have 4 servers still, plus being new. We'll get 8 like the rest and be flying shortly.
If for some reason it doesn't, it won't end up like OCE. They will simply push these 4 dead servers into crystal/aether/primal like they've done before.

Looking at player active #'s though it's increasing month over month by... well a lot. More then it ever has.
I think we'll be just fine in a few months, and with shiny new homes. I'm actually enjoying the introvert like servers for now, provided we don't visit Seraph, lol.

If anything it's actually giving me a reason to penta meld crafters at 90 for the first time ever. Hoping to bring maduin some gear & house items for reasonable prices! (Because RN they're totally unreasonable)

The Data Center is still fairly new (like only 8 days) so no need to panic just yet.
More will come eventually.
But hey, a big chance at a house is a nice thing to have at least.

Off topic but related it still baffles me that they havent made SA data center.
