    Housing Bids When You Transfer?

    I've been thinking about transferring to the new DC. However, I happened to put a bid in for a house on my server before I thought about it.

    If I transfer now, before the auction finishes, will I lose the money I put in?

    Yes you will lose it.

    From the transfer service website:

    If you should transfer Home Worlds while participating in a housing lottery, please note the following:

    The lottery entry on your previous Home World will be invalidated, and you will receive no refund for your deposit.
    So suggest waiting until it finishes (and hopefully lose so you can collect your refund!)
