Constant Vulgarity in Public Chat. WHY is this allowed?

Honestly the most vulgar people I've ever seen in shout chat aren't even ERPers. It's the shitposters talking about stuff like whether liking futa is gay or other drivel.

I see you were also in Ul'dah last night, I was more irritated with that shout chat than its normal pace of people whining about certain people talking about people talking about the shout chatters, usually it's at least funny but last night was not.

This isn't a solution when they post in places other than the main cities. Here's a list of places I've seen ads:
- Eulmore
- Old Sharlayan
- The Black Shroud newbie zones
- Idyllshire
- Radz-At-Han
- La Noscea newbie zones
- Thanalan newbie zones
- All of the housing districts
- Kugane/Doman Enclave
- Ocean Fishing
- During a CT run
- During a leveling roulette

Like..as long as there's PEOPLE, there's a chance you'll run into an advertiser. It's actually really annoying to try to avoid it and get hit with it anyway while trying to do my dailies. Like, it's actually ridiculous the lengths some go.

At least in most of those places the ads are very infrequent. It's the frequency of them that bother many more than their existence.

As for why they're going to ridiculous lengths, the venue scene is getting saturated. Got to get word out where they can to get their cut.

It's not just 1 person per venue/event doing it. They are like/are rmt spammers now.

Not only this but people have been known to pay others to advertise for them.
Giving someone a quick million gil to hit a macro every few zones and the guy shouting it otherwise entirely unrelated to the FC or group even engaging in the activities.

I don't mean a dirty word here or there, I mean why is it there are giant ads for your brothels and nightclubs with 'services' basically ALL the time?

Ok, I didn't know about Balmung being THAT server when I joined but I leave for Seraph as soon as it was allowed and boom... here they are again, absolutely disgusting ads and ceaseless spam about adult topics and if you say a word against it YOU are the one with an account warning.

I love this game but I do not understand why this filth has to be in public channels ALL THE TIME.

Is there a server that has people focused on the game and not brothels and constantly putting down anybody who is not into that?

I know I can just turn off public chat but if I wanted to play a game alone I would not be on a MMO. I have played a LOT of MMOs and by FAR the worst about this is FF.

Is the spamming of advertisements reportable? Is the advertisement of erp services reportable? If so, then you have your solution.

This kind of content does not belong in the space that this game provides, and is explicitly banned by the ToS.

It is not normal to spam links to pornography or otherwise explicit content into a videogames chat. You would be banned from virtually every single live service game in existence for doing this. It's even worse that many clubs try to initially conceal their nature, which you would only become privy to upon visiting their site.

Night clubs aren't specifically banned by the TOS.

Point out the TOS part where they are banned.

Porn and explicit content is banned.

Not nightclubs.

Lots and lots of nightclubs don't have any of that going on.
