    The only reason it dies in 10 seconds is because a large part of the data center was able to show up.

    Try doing it off peak when you're lucky to have 40 show up and a recent expansion S rank will take much longer.

    Where should the middle ground be? You'll get a lot of different opinions depending on who you talk to.

    Maybe what needs to happen is for the game to stop letting more people teleport into the zone if a S rank is present and zone population has reach as certain number (100? 150?). That way it's out of player hands and in SE's control. It would also send the message that not everyone is intended to participate. Once the zone is full, no reason to hold off any longer and the zone can be cleared for players trying to do other things.

    The only problem with that is (as mentioned a little earlier) gatherers get shafted if they're trying to hit a window. There are fish that are up for as little as one minute and they don't repop for days. We shouldn't have to suffer because of other people's greed with something totally unrelated. The solution to this problem is solely in the hands of the community. Stop abusing the travel system. Each world has enough of a local population to handle hunts.

    I don't want them to be zergable. Ever. I want A ranks to be 8 player party content at max and S ranks to be 24 player content at max. First to pull gets the mob, the end. If they wipe, another group can get claim. Give them more mechanics and an enrage timer. Clear before x minutes or wipe and its the next groups attempt. That prevented people from claiming with a tank and healers while waiting for the rest of their alliance to show up in XI.
