I'm not one of the people griefing on this, but time zones do play a part of in this. On Aether data center, the hunt trains happen (in Pacific time): while I'm getting dressed and ready to go to work, before I get off of work, and super late at night. This means for west coast people, it's really difficult to impossible for us to participate in ANY of the trains, and for me, I think the server center travel and implementation of hunt trains really hurt hunting on our server. Previously you'd just join link shells and people would call out things as they saw then and people would come if they were online to kill them in a more organic, less structured way.

Since Stormblood I can count on one hand the number of times I've been able to participate in hunts. So if someone really loved hunting before and now is being excluded because other people have come in and dictated to us how we must do our hunts if we want to do them at all.... I don't condone it, but I can understand why people would feel like they just want to burn it all down for everyone.
