That's more a consequence of the player base being double what it was compared to 3 years ago. There were hunt bots even back then and people were complaining about them back then. But a higher number of players mean more will want to participate and things will die faster as a result of that participation. In the meantime, the quantity of hunts relevant to end game hasn't increased to keep up with the attendance demand.

What fixed times? Not every world runs trains on a set schedule.
