When you deal with human beings, never count on logic or consistency.
Fluid like water. Smooth like silk. Pepperoni like pizza.
Godbert cannot enter combat anymore. One Sundering was enough.
Anyone not lukewarm would be an improvement.
Actually, to hell with it. Just put Magnai in the group.

Feo Ul. We're their lovely little branch, so they should be more involved in the story. Give em a hyur sized form and let em join us, come on Papa Yoshi!!!
I actually like that we have level-headed characters that can agree and work towards a goal.
Instead of needlessly butting heads for no good reason other then to just artificially create tension and make things drag on...
But Im not blind that the group could use 1 or 2 characters that are different. We lack a Roe, and I think it would be neat to have a Token Beastman/a Hrothgar Teammate. Viera or an Au-Ra...eh...if the Devs make a good character Im all for it, not my 1st choices tho.
I might be alone, but Id like a character like Yda / Lyse back, where they (with Estinian at this point) arnt Scholars, and their contribution is just raw power, and maybe be abit ditzy but have their own ways of solving a problem. Not sure how well it would Mesh with the party at this point.
A Harty fun loving guy like Gosetsu would be enjoyable to.
And I think the Party really needs a Ranger type character. I think a Physical Ranged Job is the only base they dont have covered
Why not a new one, someone we don't know yet? Someone we will meet in the future? Magnai is so dumb, he will never become a Scion.
Someone call the Forum Police! Because I wrote passive aggressively that DT looks not good. Oh how right I was!
Someone from different social classes (or equivalent points of origin should we deign to imagine having individuals from one of the more fantastical races of people join the main cast) compared to the rest of the established cast, XI was much better at this where characters with backgrounds like Hilda or the NPCs from the Rogues guild were made expansion companions and had different perspectives and while still well meaning perspectives they were perspectives that challenged the overarching views held by the rest of the game world so the notion of trying to make the world a better place felt more resonant at times in XI vs certain times where you seemingly feel like you're just going through the motions in XIV.
As far as physical features and traits; male Roe and Hrothgar preferably (personally speaking) but if it's gonna be player races that are already repped by established cast members please don't make them pale skinned and white hair or from racial clans already repped by the cast (ie. if it has to be a Elezen make them a Duskwight at the very least). It's gotten distracting how monolithic the Scions come off. And also have different social class based accents, all the Scions sound posh/learned aside from Estinien and while that reflects well from a consistency standpoint (as they all have ties to Sharlayan and so while not all were born into a learned class they did grow up in that environment so it makes sense they sound as such) the cast is really dying for any diversity in how their speech sounds and I know that might sound bizarre but it can go a long way to sell the fact that this is a group made up of different individuals coming together to address whatever it may be that's in front of them.

I already got what I wanted with Zero assuming she sticks around and doesn't devolve into same personality as the rest of the cast.
