Another thing that only got briefly covered is the next custom delivery client, which is a leaf monster in Il Mheg:

I guess one of their leaf men regained consciousness?

I don't think it was ever specifically mentioned whether or not the magicks the faefolk used were reversible or not.

It is mentioned that a lot of the transformed actually begged the faefolk to do it to prevent them from turning into sin eaters, so perhaps now that the light is gone they can be saved.

such is not mentioned, as they didn't beg. the pixies just arbitrarily did it as their form of mercy.

A Leafman and a Hero:

While he fought bravely, he was ultimately wounded by a creature with the touch. But ere he could turn into a monster, a pixie transformed him into a leafman.
Callous though they can be, pixies can understand the desire to protect one's home. That's why they took pity on the knight and spared him a fate worse than death.

The Once and Future Marchioness:

The marchioness was once a darling mortal herself, you know. Oh yes. She led her troops to protect the land that she loved so very much. When the eaters came, she fought till the bitter end, though her face was a mask of blood and tears...
And when she could fight no more, we pixies turned her into a tree!

Well, it'll be interesting to see if any of those individuals can have a chance at a life in a better world now regardless.

It's been years since I last did those sidequests so I kind of misremembered things.

I'm glad the writers are planning on at least briefly touching up on Garlemald since we left them in 6.0 (or 6.1 if you count the role quest capstone)
That screenshot with the twins, Zero and the Roe has me quite interested. Part of me hopes that he's in some way from Nhalmasque or another part of Ilsabard, come to help with the relief effort. In actuality it's probably just a contingent member or a researcher brought in from elsewhere. Still, one can hope.
