Any tips for leveling alts quickly?

I guess this could be asked for every kind of job - not just DPS - but given that DPS jobs take the longest to level....

Basically, does anyone have some tips for leveling alt jobs as quickly as possible? Already got a job to 90, and I was wanting to get other jobs up there as well; I already know a few tips.

- Eat food that provides a 3% Exp bonus.

- Do daily rotations.

- Do dungeons appropriate for your level.

- Do class quests.

- Wear the Brand-new Ring for the first 30 levels.

- Use POTD for 17-60, HoH for 61-70, BSF for 71-90.

Any other tips that you guys might want to share?

Move class/job quests to the top of your priority list! They gate many of your skills.

I would add pixies (70-79) and Arkasodara (80-89) tribes. Also daily hunts for Shadowbringers and Endwalker. These feel like a really good deal for time spent vs. exp. gained. You can do the tribes/daily hunts for earlier level ranges as well but they don’t feel as rewarding.

Shadowbringers and Endwalker FATEs build your Shared FATEs ranking and are great exp. if you can group up and clear them quickly. Make a PF group if need be, people join.

I would also be selective about what roulettes you do, most don’t give any more experience than running an at-level dungeon directly. I always hit Leveling and Frontline, those are great for the time spent. The others I mainly use to get bumped up from an x0 level to the x1 level dungeon for an expansion.

weekly Wondrous trials is 50% of your EXP bar so don't forget to do that

don't bother with potd till 30 or at all if ques are awful just Que for the Dungeons,between sastasha to manor you'll only have to run them once each very easy to get to 30

if you have any preorder earrings like mephina or ala mhigan don't forget to use those if you have none of those can just get the Bozja earring

unlock beast tribes for SB,ShB and Ew its a good chunk of EXP for there respected level ranges and these are good thing to do in between ques, you can do HW but i found the EXP is pretty bad compared to the other expansions

don't bother with 50/60/70/80 roulette it gives terrible EXP same with Guildhest roulette

Daily hunts are decent EXP they can help you level up when you are a sliver from the next

every time i have a class capable of doing a new dungeon i like to run the dungeon at least once so then Leveling,Frontline and Msq roulette can get me to the next dungeon easily and rinse repeat next day

Personally I do all my dailies on the job I want to level, then run the highest level dungeon available while farming level appropriate FATEs. It gives me lots of practice with my rotations and learn each new button, even if it's not the "fastest" way.

Was helping few friends from another FC level up not long ago. After their dailies/roulettes they were struggling to Lv80+ with means of gaining Experience points. Bumped out from spamming Lv80 Dungeons, I suggested an FC activity of " Fate Grinding ".

Coming from Grind mmo's, this is right up my alley. I suggested specifically Elpis and Ultima Thule since us helping at Lv90 won't require us to press level sync every time doing Lv90 fates. Being also near BiS, We made their levels go by really fast. If 1 zone had no Fates left to do and also no realm hop available at the Aetheryte? we just swap to the other zone rinse and repeat. Some FC members wanted to make Gil, others wanted furniture through Bicolor Gems and it became a fun activity for not just leveling.

This can net you quick levels, if you have dedicated grinders.

I wouldn't bother with most of the roulettes personally. Frontlines and alliance raids are the only ones really worth it and msq if you don't mind doing nothing for 40 minutes. Do your wonderous trials and potd/hoh and mix in max level dungeons if you get burnt out on the deep dungeons. There's bozja as well if you get a decent instance with fates getting cleared quickly.
