    Monk ranged attack idea

    So when monks get stuck at range for whatever reason, they can do basically nothing. A basic spamable ranged attack would be easy enough to implement, and they could even just give it the old One-Ilm Punch animation for launching the attack. As a flavor for it, it could also have a minor secondary effect based on the form they are currently in when they use it, like a minor amount of aoe or a really short heavy. Or even just be a guaranteed crit when used after Thunderclap.

    IMO now that Riddle of Earth no longer provides positionals (But still has weaponskill stacks for some reason?) this seems like a good secondary feature to give it. Extends the Monk's melee range via Earth bending.

    Monk already has SSS and Meditation for disengaging.

    The only issue right now is that if you end up disengaging with 4 chakra you end up kind of screwed. Allowing you to spend chakra early (similar to Perfect Pitch) or store more would alleviate this problem somewhat.

    I think a case could be made for giving MNK a ranged ability for single player content, but I'd rather see it added via something similar to the Variant abilities.

    Giving Forbidden Chakra variable potency depending on how many pips you have like Perfect Pitch would alleviate like 25% of the problems it has. 50% if it was given a bigger cap. If SE is insistent on keeping Chakra as a terrible job gauge then they need to at least let us have these changes already.

    Reaper : throws energy ball
    Monk : throws self

    Though also monk's disengage skills include six-sided star and meditate. You don't literally have to have a skill that throws something at the enemy to have a skill that's appropriate to use when you're not right on the boss doing damage.
