Removing oGCDs so I have to GCD heal more, giving healers more DPS buttons and making the cost of a GCD heal cost less than it current does now will always be a good thing

I did say we should combine Cure1/Cure2 and the equivalents, and Medica1/Medica2 and the AST equivalent above so we're on the same page there. The reason I mentioned Exaltation and co is because I never feel like I 'need' them. I use them becasue they're there, sure, but if they weren't there nothing would change, the tanks would still live through the TB like they do already. This tier they get a little bit less flak from me because of the DOTs but there were plenty of P4S runs where I just never bothered using Aquaveil/Exaltation because they were just surplus to requirements. But I can see the reasoning in keeping them.Bringing crafters and gatherers which don't need to be rolling GCDs into the mix is extremely bad faith, be better than that. Now, yes PLD could drop Shield Bash (probably will in a month) and SAM is now 32. Now instead of cleaning actually useful abilities (Protraction, really? Yes let's cleave what SCHs use practically every opener. Or the great mits that are Aquaveil amd Exaltation) let's hit other stuff that actually needs it such as: The basic single target/AOE GCD heals, (this cleaves Cure1, Medica1, Physick [which should just in general be deleted from the game so it stops being a SMN meme] Benefic, and Helios) Summon Eos/Selene, (combine them, it defaults to Eos/and if you do it again it defaults to Selene) Undraw. You know those kinds of things
Oh now I see, the reason I've got 33 binds on SAM is because I put an extra Shinten bind where Kaiten used to be, because muscle memory. MB for miscounting there. Still, you might not be 'rolling GCDs' as a Fisher, but for Big Fishing you're definitely on the clock and every second counts so I'd count it
Not for the game. It's removal of depth
And as a Big Fish I can say from experience that you aren't using even 24 buttons, let alone 32. The spearfishing actions don't even need to be looked thatI did say we should combine Cure1/Cure2 and the equivalents, and Medica1/Medica2 and the AST equivalent above so we're on the same page there. We'll agree to disagree then. But setting the true endgame of fishing aside, and getting back to the original point, how does removing OGCD healing tools to enforce more GCD healing count as 'removal of depth', when removing damage tools like a second DOT, or the ability to spread the DOT with Bane, or Cleric Stance (SB version), or 'the cards do different things to each other' is not 'removal of depth'?
I don't understand why people continue to entertain desperate for attention, delusional posters who have never posted anything worth replying to, especially when talking about roles they do not play and are not proficient in. I know healing is boring but surely it's not this boring?![]()
You mean when FireMage said they heal regularly, they were... not-truthing? Surely not!
There is no disagreeing with facts, just blimd ignorance. GCD healing is not deep unless you start making it resource based and even then, not really. Are you seriously about to argue that Afflatus use to more complex than oGCD management on SCH/SGE/AST? Cuz you'd be wrong from the get go. Also AST cards weren't deep, there were only three good ones, the rest sucked, it was imbalanced and overcentralized, and an extra DoT wasn't deep, unless you think hitting a combo button is deep. My every post is gold, my presenceis to your benefit. And again, I'm quite good at all roles, my fflogs alone speak to such truthsI don't understand why people continue to entertain desperate for attention, delusional posters who have never posted anything worth replying to, especially when talking about roles they do not play and are not proficient in. Tired of this now, at first it was mildly fun but now it's worn off and it's just boring. Kinda like healer gameplay, ironically. Not my fault you can't see how deep something is or isn't. Besides, if these things were not depth, why the heck do so many Sylphies rage about the idea of adding some of these non-depths back in 7.0There is no disagreeing with facts, just blimd ignorance. Unlike your logs, so stop wasting time posting here and get back to logging, once you are the undefeated king of your job's players maybe then I'll give a damn what you have to say about 'balance is more important for the game than fun' or why the 2min meta is God's gift to us plebs. Also since you want us to fawn over your logs so much and see how good you are at all roles, congrats on your healer parses in... Aglaia? I know you worked super hard to get them. Weird it doesn't show your P5-8S logs though, I think the site is bugged
I love when someone with worse logs than me this tier on an easier Job just peacocks this hard. It's really disappointing you wish to be treated like a misbehaving toddler but alas... You are dismissed, troll.Tired of this now, at first it was mildly fun but now it's worn off and it's just boring. Kinda like healer gameplay, ironically. Even if their logs are worse were they the person that claimed to be good at all roles with logs to back it up? Wait no that's you; I wonder how hard it is to not make false claims that take 20 seconds to disprove? Talk shit get hit
