Right now we just have 4, and none of them are even dyable. Honestly, I would be ok even if the options were just repurposed BLM/ WHM weapon designs, cause at least we would have more options.

They'll probably get 2 extra models on 6.45, and hopefully an additional two because of the 2 weapon design winners.
I am curious to see how we would go about obtaining them.
embrace the beef chow mein
I feel like it's a missed opportunity to not have primal weapons for BLU due to needing to complete most of them for spells. It'd be cool to get some enemy weapons, like mindflayer/soulflayer, to couple with the collecting of enemy spells schtick.

It's just one thing out of many, *many* examples of Square-Enix missing an opportunity to add some extra, "slow grind" sort of content to the game at presumably small resources costs. Why don't we have Zodiac and Anima weapons for BLU? No Eurekan or Bozjan weapons makes sense since BLU can't go there (note that this is quite possibly the biggest "WHAT ARE YOU DUMMIES DOING???" thing that BLU *should* have access to but does not), but there's no damn reason we can't access Zodiac and Anima lines for them. Sure, the art team has to create the assets, someone has to plunk in the quest stuff, but I can't imagine that this process is particularly expensive in terms of work-hours and effort, and yet it would give players just one more bit of content to chase or consider doing during the inevitable content lulls that occur in the latter weeks of any given patch cycle. Same with primal BLU weapons. Maybe have CRP and GSM handle them?
They ain't gotta add all of them in one whack, just one or two every other major patch would still be something.
I guess our options are...
Wait for it..
Limited.
I'll see myself out.
