Refunding Lunar Envoy weapons?

That "one time item restoration" is not meant for that purpose though, it's a last resort if something goes seriously wrong with your account like due to a bug and you lose a rare item like a relic or something that has no other way of getting again, it's not meant to be a way of overcoming wrong tomestone class gear purchases.

SE's attitude towards that is "learn from this mistake and make sure you take better care with what you're purchasing you can actually equip". Tomestones aren't really that hard to get (and besides, in a month's time that gear would be deappreciated to more mundane gear with an easy way of getting with new better gear replacing it). Or just get a Manderville weapon for it (the new relic for EW) which is equivelant stat wise anyway.

Unfortunately you are kinda SoL. Others did mention the one time rollback you can get, but I wouldn't use it on a tomestone weapon. I'd save it for something big like accidentally discarding a relic weapon or something pretty rare like that.
Also tomestone weapons will be faster to get in about a month or so, when 6.3 drops, they should start being available for 4 swords rather than 7.

Sorry that happened to you OP, that's why I'm extra paranoid and filter items by class when I buy tomestone stuff. I wouldn't spend my one time restoration on this, but it's your call.

A 24h refund system is something a lot of MMOs have, but as usual, when a common sense QoL feature is suggested, people get on the defensive.

Pretty much what the title asks… is there a way to refund a unbounded Lunar Envoy weapon? I accidentally bought the Greatsword version and I don’t have that class leveled up at all, and I meant to get the axe for Warrior. I guess I got mixed up because they have the exact same stats and are right next to each other.

If not… I might just out the game down for a while, since that just dashed my desire to play it. That is literally two months down the drain… >.>

If you select your job from the drop down menu when browsing the tomestone vendor's wares it'll hide all the weapons that are for the wrong job.

The item restoration menu is here (select the bottom option):



You can only do this once however, so you need to take some time to think if it's worth it or not. There's not a lot you can miss out on in this game and there's always time to get back these sorts of items. But it's up to you.

don't waste your one time return on a tome weapon its not worth it,
should just get the relic much easier to get and its only 5 less ilevel than the tome weapon.
