Penalty for leaving duty finder

So no if your in dutyfinder can't do anything without it canceling dutyfinder. If you do you get a penalty. Canceled dutyfinder when just talk to one of my retainers. This is total bs that can't do anything now. Now have to just stand and do nothing. this needs fixed right away.

Wouldn't stopping talking to your retainer saved you the penalty? Aren't there like 3 strikes then penalty?

You have enough time to close your retainer window and to join the duty.

You can also miss the duty invite two times a day without getting a penalty.
When you regularly miss to accept it, then it is a you problem.

I just queued for dutyfinder no queue even popped yet. I talked to my retainer to send out and it just cancels dutyfinder queue. Then says your penalty count has increased for abandoning a duty by canceling matching. You didn't read the post right

Cancelling matching doesn't give you a penalty, though. You can join and leave as much as you like as long as the 'duty found' box doesn't appear.

What you're saying doesn't make sense. You can leave a queue at any time if it hasn't popped yet without penalty...

It doesn't make sense to me ether what happened. I just enter dutyfinder queue for mainstory quest roulette then right after it I check on my retainers. Then gives me a message saying your penalty count has increased for abandoning a duty by canceling matching. But no duty has even popped yet since I just entered it 5 seconds before.

Roulette queues are usually really fast in the hour or two after a maintenance. It probably popped at the same time that you interacted with the summoning bell and minimized to your notification area.

Thats not it you have 30 seconds to accept a duty when it pops. This happened with in 5 seconds. I wasn't even logged in yet for 30 seconds. I always logout next to retainer bell at the inn room.
