They're nerfing it the wrong way.
Return the original range, but make it 1, purifyable, or 2, break on damage.
It's just a extra stun with no counterplay to guarantee kills which is bad gameplay
You need new material troll
You mean putting trolls in their place? It's a good thing. You should be thankful
You mean the correct take
If this is the guy...wow. The people in the comments have...quite the opinion.

When you deal with human beings, never count on logic or consistency.
Fluid like water. Smooth like silk. Pepperoni like pizza.
Firemage showing up in a Titanmen-less forum is a massive wasted opportunity.
If we're talking P8S logged clears, RPR was the 4th most unpopular DPS, only beaten out by MCH, BRD and BLM.
Sure RPR is popular in casual content, but it's not meta. As soon as good damage is actually required, it disappears from stats.
Same happened with DSR and it will probably be an unpopular pick in the next Ultimate too unless they fix its massive issues with downtime mechanics.

As long as Reaper relies on it's burst and the buildup required it will always be undesirable in high-end content I think.
The bulk of Reaper damage is in Enshroud windows. Outside of that Gibbet/Gallows/Bloodstalk.
With the changes I assume the plan is for Reaper to be stuck in drifting dbl Enshroud windows with a 1k pot PH and 2 1.1k pot Communios.
When I glance at it, it just doesn't seem like a lot of fun for casual players or competitive players IMO.
I think overall these are just band-aids and doesn't really help them all that much.
